The Transistor Professional Power Supply is simple and uncomplicated, offering voltage adjustments of 0.40V and current adjustments of 0.5A. The transformer used is 36VAC, 200W, and TIP142 output transistors.
For the voltage indicator, it would be better to use a pre-built volt-ampere meter module instead of an IC 7107. In this case, the 0.1-ohm 10W resistor is unnecessary, but the negative supply is taken from the +-5V winding, which requires regulation.
