SMD Resistor Potentiometer PCB for Volume Control

SMD Resistor Potentiometer PCB for Volume Control

This is a project to repair a faulty volume control potentiometer on an Odyssey-U-010 amplifier. In the original setup, large resistors were soldered to the top. Instead of using a linear potentiometer when the potentiometer failed, a PCB suitable for SMD resistors was designed and implemented. It’s a system similar to a logarithmic potentiometer.

If you can create the conversion mechanism, it could be useful in other projects. It has 31 resistor steps.

The PCB design is implemented by printing it out in image format. A practical process has been applied to the design. I have made adjustments for standard printing.

I have rearranged the SMD resistor connection sections and made a few additional adjustments. Gerber files have been added.
