The mini fridge project is made in the simplest way using very few materials. In addition to 1 12v 50 watt peltier thermal switch, CPU cooler, 12v fan and 2-position switch, 10 amp fuses are used for safety. In fact, since the refrigerator will be used for cooling, there is no need for a two-position switch, if it is to be used for heating, it makes your job easier.
You can use ready-made, insulated products for the refrigerator cabinet, known as “thermos bag” or you can make it yourself with sheathing foam.
For detailed information on questions such as what is Peltier and how is Peltier used, see the article What is Peltier Thermoelectric Cooler and How It Works.
Cooler Based on a peltier effect module equipped with a fan cooled heatsink. Suffice it to say that it consists of a series of P-N connections sandwiched between two metal plates. Somehow pass current through the ports and they absorb heat – one plate gets much colder than the other. Pass the current the other way and vice versa, the cold plate gets hot.
If you thermally connect the Peltier (that’s short for Peltier Effect!) to another object, that object will either cool or heat up depending on the polarity of the supply to the Peltier. Therefore, a Peltier can be used for both cooling and heating.
