GPS Circuit Boats Computer PIC18F4550 Microcontroller

It is generally known as a vehicle computer, but siliconship has prepared a project inside the boat 🙂 The main parts of the GPS system are the EM 408 GPS module and the 18f4550 microcontroller, and the circuit also has a USB connection.

The project basically consists of a PIC18F4550 microcontroller, a display, and an EM408 GPS module. It shows your speed in knots, your heading, your fuel consumption rate, and the total amount of fuel consumed. It also shows your latitude and longitude, and a compass needle pointing north.

Probably the most useful feature is that the GPS Boat Computer can memorize up to eight of your favorite fishing or diving spots, and then guide you to the same spot – even in the ocean.

The GPS Boat Computer is very easy to use. You have a series of screens that show you useful information that you select by pressing the UP or DOWN buttons. These buttons will scroll through the current set of screens when you reach the end. When you turn off the GPS Boat Computer, it will remember the last screen and automatically return to that screen when the power is turned back on.
