A few months ago I started building a subwoofer, which originally had a reach 70W on the speaker STX GDN-25-100-4-SC. Of course, as thoughts on the design of my ambitions grew, grew up to 140W and change the speaker on the STX GDN-22-300-8-SW :) The subwoofer is equipped with a bridge amplifier for the TDA7294. Heatsink surface within 1000cm ^ 2 is a little too big, but it was bought for pennies, so I do not damage ;)

The amplifier is powered pulse power supply. It is a converted ATX power supply, used is all part of the primary and the secondary part of the driver and made money. The inverter has an output voltage stabilization that is loose + /-34V, and a full load drops to + /-29V. Such a large voltage drop is caused by a very strong signal of the error amplifier compensation controller. With a weaker compensation, ie the strengthening of the voltage error amplifier row 100 .200 x, voltage drops under full load for a single millivolts ;) But as rigid characteristics entail greater fluctuations in current, so I decided to soften it.
