TPA3116 Class D Amplifier Circuit A small class-D mid-range stereo headset that will be used in car headphones, active speakers, or PC-audio. The amplifier module is based on the TPA3116 circuit comprising two bridged power amplifier channels with common switching, muting and protection circuits.

The TPA3116 power amplifier schematic diagram. The U1 system (using the 2x50W TPA3116 model) uses a basic application in accordance with the Texas Instruments application note. The power amplifiers of the individual channels are made in a bridged system, which allows a large output power to be achieved without having to use inverters that increase the supply voltage or the symmetrical supply.
Power using the TPA3116 the “strongest” family system, provided by the manufacturer for 21 V power supply is 2 × 50 W at 4 volts. The actual output power largely depends on the quality of the power source and the heat dissipation efficiency of the system structure.
